Description

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

The three-day Bootcamp is Mulloon Institutes Flagship program where participants learn how to read and assess water cycle health at a property and/or waterway reach scale, prioritise issues and investigate various strategies to rehydrate their landscape. The third day focuses on construction and the practical application of new skills, building the confidence of attendees to undertake projects on their own properties. The construction component can be excluded if a two-day course is preferred.
Course topics include:
● • understanding landscape rehydration as the process towards landscape restoration
● • fundamentals of water in landscapes and the role of plants
● • skills in assessing and monitoring hydrological health
● • knowledge and skills in hydrology calculations
● • landscape hydrology management relevant to your property
● • practical steps to undertake a Landscape Rehydration project
● • construction of a simple structure.

The Mulloon team will prepare maps of each participant's property before the event. These will be used as part of the learning process. Participants will need to bring sturdy shoes and be prepared for outdoor activities. The bootcamp is dynamic and interactive, and focuses on practical outcomes so that participants are well-positioned to start on-groundwork on their properties. We also have a Mentoring Program that Bootcamp graduates can enrol in after completion of a Bootcamp to assist them with progressing their individual projects.
